13/10/2008: Zaubergarten website goes live
This is the first German web shop we have set up with our own shop software. Zaubergarten is a shop in Regensburg high street selling designer clothes for children and designer maternity wear. We think this is a good product to sell online and hope the web shop will increase Zaubergarten's overall turnover!

10/10/2008: New My Family Care clients go live
For our client My Family Care we have taken two new clients (UBS and Abbey) live who have signed up for their product emergencychildcare.co.uk - an online portal which helps parents to find an emergency nursery space, nanny or childminder in case their normal childcare breaks down. Participating companies subsidise the bookings in different ways and require different reports.

06/10/2008: Katrin product sheets system updated
This is a project we initially did last year: A system allowing our partner agency Moog, Moog & Morgenstern from Koblenz, Germany to update the data of the Katrin product sheets. Our online system then creates an offline version which can be burned onto a CD. It lists all products in different languages and categories with links to access product PDFs. This year we changed the system to allow for an updated structure of the product tables.

29/09/2008: Locale web server upgraded
We upgraded the web server we run for our client Locale to a server with a higher hardware specification. At the same time we upgraded the server and the websites on them to PHP5.

12/09/2008: e.content.maps integrated for Oberes Maintal - Coburger Land
Oberes Maintal - Coburger Land has signed up for a project by Frankentourismus to introduce a new map software developed specially for tourism websites. We pass the details of the accommodations, restaurants, sights and events through an XML interface and this software displays them in a map system powered by Microsoft Virtual Earth.

01/09/2008: Our first apprentice
We are very proud that our German part of the business has been allowed to have an apprentice. The apprenticeship for Christopher Jakob is for 3 years in which he will make monthly trips to the UK. At the end of his apprenticeship he will have to take a final government exam to become an "IT Systeme Kaufmann" (it systems trader). We wish Chris all the best for his apprenticeship!

28/08/2008: Brewing Awards website goes live
This is a project for one of our oldest clients. Earlier this year we have finished the redesign of the BFBI main website which we have been looking after since 2000. Both designs were done by our designer Elias Fecher and both websites are fitted with our CMS (Content Management System) which allows the client to change all the content of the website themselves.

18/08/2008: Japanese version of the Sheffield Haworth website goes live
We have set up the Verbatim Europe website in currently 17 different languages including Russian characters - but this was the first time we have actually done a project with Japanese characters. It is an independent copy of the main Sheffield Haworth website aiming at the Japanese market.

11/08/2008: sapnagroup wins two pitches
After over a year from the first contact we won the business for the technical and creative redesign of the web shop for The Fish Society. We will also host the website and work on the search engine optimisation (SEO). Planned live date is November 2008. Through our partner agency MM&M in Koblenz we also won the business to create a new multi-lingual website for FLOTT.
